The Catechism - Daily Prayers: Returning Thanks (after a meal): Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever. [He] gives food to every creature. He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens that call. His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, not His delight in the legs of a man; the Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love. (Psalm 116:1, 25; 147:9-11) We thank You, Lord God, heavenly Father, for all Your benefits, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Collect for the Week: Almighty God, You know we live in the midst of so many dangers that in our frailty we cannot stand upright. Grant strength and protection to support us in all dangers and carry us through all temptations; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord. Amen.
